Steve MinOn – author

About

Steve MinOn won the Glendower award for an emerging Queensland writer at the 2023 Queensland Literary Awards. A child of mixed-race Australia, he has at different times been a creative director, an advertising copywriter and a restaurateur. He lives in Meanjin/Brisbane, Australia. Steve’s debut manuscript First Name Second Name will be published by UQP (stay tuned for a launch date) and he is currently working on a follow-up novel. He has also been a recipient of the 2021 Queensland Writers Centre Publishable program for emerging writers and his articles and short stories have appeared in SBS Voices, Mamamia, Nightmare Fuel, WQ Magazine and the upcoming 2022 Right Left Write Anthology.
